Thrifting

A rare picture of us together without the kids ?(they weren’t far away anyway lol) I bought those #thriftedshirts at @vinted, I was looking for a father’s day gift and I found that! Like new, ecological coton, so soft and loved the #momofwo and #dadoftwo prints? Fighting fast fashion is not only about to protect the environment, is also about human rights and at @slowfashionseason we are also working on our commitment to anti-racism work within the campaign because “we can’t have a sustainable fashion revolution until the industry is actively anti-racist”

Upcycled romper!

Today I am happy to share another upcycled romper! Right before holidays I’ve managed some time to upcycle a skirt that didn’t fit me, but I loved the print and the fabric. So I thought it was perfect for a baby romper.

I looked for a pattern at www.ohmotherminediy.com and find this one, really easy and comfortable for summer adventures.

From a skirt to a romper

The skirt has fabric enough to put all the parts of the pattern on it and easily cut them. I just needed an elastic band for the collar and fasteners and the upcycled outfit was done! It’s a light fabric perfect for summer, that I can upcycle again in a few years into a girl’s blouse!

I still have some off-cuts for other projects, just need to decide what I can do next! Maybe scrunchies and ribbons for the girls!

Nature photography

Well, I just wanted to share some macro snaps, nature photography is always that I love to practice and rarely share it here. I took these photos when we first went for a walk after the lockdown

I took them with my nikon d5200 and the 50mm lens, which I love even if I’m still learning how it works, better use it with a tripod because it’s a very luminous focal and it need to be stabilised. But I love how I can play with bokeh with this lens.
