Rain Drops trick for photos

Rain drops trick for photos: in this post I am going to show you an easy trick for a rainy photo idea, perfect for storytelling, a nostalgic atmosphere and a different style to add to your photos with no specific gear to use!

It’s raining a lot lately, so I thought about that picture idea.

I needed to wet the glass door because it’s from our balcony and usually the rain drops don’t fall here #instagramvsrealityn haha
I usually don’t buy bouquets but I found this fair-trade one las time, I went for grocery shopping @lidlfrance  .

So I had all I needed for these photos, water and flowers ad props!

How to fake rain drops on windows

So, to recreate rain drops on your windows you just need a water spray. But to be honest just to splash out with your fingers should be enough!

If you can’t shoot behind your window you just need a clear square PVC and splash with water as well. It’s really easy! Scroll down to see the different photos that I have made with that trick.

My little M. loves flowers and after the “shooting” she immediately went to her room and put the bouquet near her bed “like this I can decorate my room with the roses” she’s so lovely!
Which one do you prefer?

Upcycled ruffled blouse

Upcycled ruffled blouse: It’s time for another upcycled item! It’s a really easy one and the change is huge!

I had this Mango white shirt, that I thrifted last year because it was friendly bumb, but now I don’t use it at all. I wanted to sell it on vinted, but covid happened, so I decided to refashion it into a ruffled blouse

Upcycled blouse idea

I just needed to remove the sleeves and the collar with the bottom of the shirt I cut two equal bands and made the ruffles. That’s all! A big change right? You can use a man shirt for the same result!

Homemade hair removal wax

Homemade hair removal wax

?Homemade hair removal wax?
Yes, that’s something you can also do at home with just 4 ingredients: sugar+water+honey+lemon
No harmful ingredients, it’s great for your skin (even for sensitive skins) and #zerowaste!
Heat the 500gr of sugar and slowly add the water (1/2 glass-15cl) until the mix bubble (remove from heat when the color is golden brown-similar to honey)
Add 2tbsp of honey (optional) and the juice of a 1/2lemon.  Make sure the container you use to transfer the wax is heat resistant.  The great part is that you can  keep it covered in the fridge for two or three monts. When you decide to use it again melt it in bain marie . Wait for it to cool (wax consistency) and it’s ready to use.

Homemade hair removal wax

?How I use it: I make a ball with my hands, spread it on my skin and then wait for the “band” to get totally cool and solid. You can now pull:)
?Always use quality ingredients for a better result and a greener life (raw sugar/local honey etc)
?Always sterilise your utensils before your diy recipes.

DIY Rainbow handbag

DIY Rainbow handbag: We need rainbows now more than ever, right? The symbol of hope is everywhere during this lock down and last week I was looking at my half-moon handbag (you can check the #diyhere ) when suddenly had the idea of this rainbow handbag?.

DIY Rainbow handbag

I haven’t any table set mat for that but a lot of fabric offcuts so first I made the “table mat” with two rounds of fabric, then added the bows with some leftovers of laces, and finally added the zip (bending the fabric in order to have a half-moon shape).

DIY Rainbow handbag

And here is the final result, uwe can now always have a rainbow with us! Hope you like it! xX
