Next week we are going to celebrate #carnival, so before our Italian trip I managed some time to sew two easy costumes for the girls.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"3325\" height=\"4989\" src=\"http:\/\/test.scrapsandcoffeegrounds.comwp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/wp-1582450721988.jpg\" alt=\"Upcycled wizard of oz costumes\" class=\"wp-image-2231\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The theme I chose was the wizard of oz, because I had faux fur and a Blu gingham dress to upcycle. I thrifted a pair of red velvet shoes for Mrs M. too!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>?First of all, I used one maternity dress that I refashioned to make a Dorothy dress for Ms M. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"4330\" height=\"5773\" src=\"http:\/\/test.scrapsandcoffeegrounds.comwp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/wp-1582450721374.jpg\" alt=\"Before and after upcycle\" class=\"wp-image-2225\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"3678\" height=\"4906\" src=\"http:\/\/test.scrapsandcoffeegrounds.comwp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/wp-1582450721467.jpg\" alt=\"Before and after upcycle\" class=\"wp-image-2224\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>?For the little lion I used a sunbonnet pattern,and recycled the faux fur of a hood that I don&#8217;t use anymore. Then I just added the lion&#8217;s ears.
