I really hope your year started great!<\/p>\n<p>Everybody is talking here about new year&#8217;s resolutions, goals, deadlines&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>I don&#8217;t like that, that means lots of pressure for me&#8230; I just want to grow and care less about what people could think, love me more and try to focus on positive sides and silver linings.<\/p>\n<p>Of course, I want to keep in my life the slow and zero waste attitude, improving it, and for the first time I applied that under the Christmas tree this year.<\/p>\n<p>When you wrap gifts you can also choose the respectful way, without plastic or tons of paper.<\/p>\n<p>I saw fabric wraps really beautiful out there, but personally I don&#8217;t have enough scraps and I didn&#8217;t want to buy fabric in purpose.<\/p>\n<p>Some old foulards can work well too.<\/p>\n<p>But I tried the simple way with old newspaper, holding it with rope instead of tape.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-1350 alignnone size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/test.scrapsandcoffeegrounds.comwp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/dsc_0224881527495267435211.jpg\" width=\"3000\" height=\"2000\" alt=\"Newspaper gift wrapping \"><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-1348 alignnone size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/test.scrapsandcoffeegrounds.comwp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/dsc_02264086180827553246595.jpg\" width=\"3000\" height=\"2000\" alt=\"Sustainable gift wrapping \"><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1346\" src=\"http:\/\/test.scrapsandcoffeegrounds.comwp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/dsc_02251062798563473740144.jpg\" width=\"3000\" height=\"2000\" alt=\"Greener holidays \"><\/p>\n<p>We usually buy and collect newspapers from travels, love different languages ones and it&#8217;s fun to look back and read what happened during our travels in these places. But we can&#8217;t keep them all,so I thought that a repurpose would be lovely.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-1349 alignnone size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/test.scrapsandcoffeegrounds.comwp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/dsc_02232225248423509909448.jpg\" width=\"3000\" height=\"2000\" alt=\"Newspaper gift wrapping \"><\/p>\n<p>I use them as paper wrapping and added rustic rope and a little twig of the Christmas tree.
