{"id":6447,"date":"2018-04-16T22:57:51","date_gmt":"2018-04-16T21:57:51","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/atomic-temporary-64974688.wpcomstaging.com\/2018\/04\/16\/1051\/"},"modified":"2023-03-11T14:12:44","modified_gmt":"2023-03-11T13:12:44","slug":"holland-getaway","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/test.scrapsandcoffeegrounds.com\/?p=6447","title":{"rendered":"Holland getaway"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Holland getaway: and a small gallery of our trip to Holland with our one year old girl.<\/p>\n<p>Are you still waiting for some spring weather?<\/p>\n<p>Here is cold and rainy, so you can imagine that last month we haven&#8217;t the greatest weather in our Dutch scape&#8230; Besides, because of the cold weather on this long winter the tulips were a little late this year, but we found some of them and we are grateful for that.<\/p>\n<p>Anyway, the journey was dreamy and the date with the tulips totally worth it.<\/p>\n<p>We had only 4 days on the country and we were located at Zandvoort:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Day one: Amsterdam<\/b>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Well, we had already visited the capital few years ago but it is always a pleasure to rediscover a city with our girl now!<\/p>\n<p>The magnificent Amsterdam Centraal Train Station, the Cathedral, Museum Van Gogh, Dam Square,Anna Frank&#8217;s house, red light district&#8230; but my favorites this time are the <b>Bloemenmarkt <\/b>(market flower) and the <span style=\"color: #3c4043;font-family: Roboto, HelveticaNeue, Arial, sans-serif;font-size: 14px;font-style: normal;font-weight: 400;letter-spacing: normal;text-transform: none;background-color: #ffffff;display: inline !important;float: none;text-align: left\"><b>Sint Antoniesbreestraat<\/b><\/span><b>,<\/b> the main comercial street with all the charming vintage stores.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1045\" src=\"http:\/\/test.scrapsandcoffeegrounds.comwp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/dsc_0168-02851575153.jpeg\" width=\"3000\" height=\"2000\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-1043 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/test.scrapsandcoffeegrounds.comwp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/dsc_0180-01271999991.jpeg\" alt=\"Holland getaway \" width=\"3000\" height=\"2000\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-1030 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/test.scrapsandcoffeegrounds.comwp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/dsc_0214-011134821057.jpeg\" alt=\"Holland getaway \" width=\"2999\" height=\"2000\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-1040 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/test.scrapsandcoffeegrounds.comwp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/dsc_0006-011738747783.jpeg\" width=\"3000\" height=\"2000\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-1044 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/test.scrapsandcoffeegrounds.comwp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/dsc_0172-011261895196.jpeg\" width=\"3000\" height=\"2000\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-1027 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/test.scrapsandcoffeegrounds.comwp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/dsc_0283-011299761997.jpeg\" width=\"3000\" height=\"2000\" \/><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Day 2: <\/b>visit to the <b>keukenhof botanical gardens.<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This is <span style=\"color: #3c4043;font-family: Roboto, HelveticaNeue, Arial, sans-serif;font-size: 14px;font-style: normal;font-weight: 400;letter-spacing: normal;text-transform: none;background-color: #ffffff;display: inline !important;float: none;text-align: left\">one of the world&#8217;s largest flower gardens<\/span> with 37 hectares and 7 million flowers. Also,you will found here a big sample of Dutch traditions of gastronomy and folklore . From Zandvoort,take the bus 80 and enjoy on the way the peaceful view of the national park of <span style=\"color: #323232;font-family: Verdana, Tahoma, Arial, sans-serif;font-size: 12px;font-style: normal;font-weight: 400;letter-spacing: normal;text-transform: none;background-color: #ffffff;display: inline !important;float: none;text-align: left\">De Amsterdamse Waterleidingduinen<\/span> with his dunes and lovely deers. Then take the 854 to keukenhof.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-1048 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/test.scrapsandcoffeegrounds.comwp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/dsc_0484-021599532640.jpeg\" width=\"2750\" height=\"1833\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-1049 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/test.scrapsandcoffeegrounds.comwp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/dsc_0509-021397569118.jpeg\" width=\"3000\" height=\"2000\" \/><b><\/b><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-1050 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/test.scrapsandcoffeegrounds.comwp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/dsc_0476-011643128454.jpeg\" width=\"3000\" height=\"2000\" \/><b><\/b><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-1047 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/test.scrapsandcoffeegrounds.comwp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/dsc_0473-011159359225.jpeg\" width=\"3000\" height=\"2124\" \/><b><\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Day 3: Haarlem <\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Visit Haarlem on Saturday and enjoy the weekly market, I loved the ambiance there, with the cathedral watching at you that&#8217;s just magical. (The <b style=\"margin: 0;padding: 0;border: 0;font-style: normal;font-weight: bold;line-height: inherit\">Grote Kerk<\/b><span style=\"color: #222222\"> or <\/span><b style=\"margin: 0;padding: 0;border: 0;font-style: normal;font-weight: bold;line-height: inherit\">St.-Bavokerk<\/b><span style=\"color: #222222\"> on the central market square<\/span>). Then on our way to the train station we meet the Adriaan windmill. A perfect must see,the beach offered us some revitalizing sunshine, and we enjoyed the sunset while savouring a great meal on the restaurant Aan Zee.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\"
