It rises to the maximum height approved by the city (the elevation of Mount Royal) at 205 m and 51 floors. A little shy that night, became clueless between a layer of thin mist.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Hard to chose what to visit on this city full of culture, so we did our best on a rainy day and we started with the underground city.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: var(--font-base, 'Work Sans', sans-serif)\">His name is R\u00c9SO or &#8220;ville souterraine&#8221; in french, and it&#8217;s a incredible network of galleries with all kind of \u00a0shops, malls, hotels and more, linking some metro stations. Is one of the largest underground complexes in the world with over 32 km of tunnels.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/test.scrapsandcoffeegrounds.comwp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/image72.jpg\"><br \/><\/a><a href=\"http:\/\/test.scrapsandcoffeegrounds.comwp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/image72.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-183\" src=\"http:\/\/test.scrapsandcoffeegrounds.comwp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/image72.jpg?w=300\" alt=\"image\" width=\"300\" height=\"190\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-184\" src=\"http:\/\/test.scrapsandcoffeegrounds.comwp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/image73.jpg?w=300\" alt=\"image\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" \/><span style=\"font-family: var(--font-base, 'Work Sans', sans-serif)\">We decided also to taste a common canadian dish, &#8220;the poutine&#8221; (french fries, cheese and a deliciouse sauce). \u00a0And this time we wanted to do it at Harvey&#8217;s, the second-largest Canadian-established restaurant chain in the country behind Tim Hortons.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/test.scrapsandcoffeegrounds.comwp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/image84.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-196\" src=\"http:\/\/test.scrapsandcoffeegrounds.comwp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/image84.jpg?w=300\" alt=\"image\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>And after that, and full of energy, \u00a0we went by metro to the Olympic Stadium, the largest by seating capacity in Canada, and his inclined Montreal Tower, the tallest inclined one around the world with 175m.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/test.scrapsandcoffeegrounds.comwp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/image75.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-186\" src=\"http:\/\/test.scrapsandcoffeegrounds.comwp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/image75.jpg?w=300\" alt=\"image\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/test.scrapsandcoffeegrounds.comwp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/image76.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-187\" src=\"http:\/\/test.scrapsandcoffeegrounds.comwp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/image76.jpg?w=300\" alt=\"image\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>With our metro daypass we went to \u00cele Saint-H\u00e9l\u00e8ne admire the Geodesic Dome of the Biosphere Museum.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/test.scrapsandcoffeegrounds.comwp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/image83.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-194\" src=\"http:\/\/test.scrapsandcoffeegrounds.comwp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/image83.jpg?w=200\" alt=\"image\" width=\"200\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/test.scrapsandcoffeegrounds.comwp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/image77.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-188\" src=\"http:\/\/test.scrapsandcoffeegrounds.comwp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/image77.jpg?w=300\" alt=\"image\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Come back to downtown to walk around Notre Dame Basilica and Place d&#8217;Armes square. You can see the Maisonneuve Monument, in memory of Paul de Chomeday, founder of Montreal.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/test.scrapsandcoffeegrounds.comwp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/image82.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-193\" src=\"http:\/\/test.scrapsandcoffeegrounds.comwp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/image82.jpg?w=200\" alt=\"image\" width=\"200\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/test.scrapsandcoffeegrounds.comwp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/image78.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-189\" src=\"http:\/\/test.scrapsandcoffeegrounds.comwp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/image78.jpg?w=300\" alt=\"image\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A quite and\u00a0 solitary (because of rain) evening at Old Montreal, walking around the City Hall, rue Saint Paul, Victorian houses, the Bonsecours Market, and the waterfront, the Montreal Tower Clock and the Jacques Cartier Bridge.
